Boraine’s eldest son confirmed that he passed away early on Wednesday morning in Constantia.

CAPE TOWN – Former politician and one of the architects of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Alex Boraine has died.

He was 87-years-old.

Boraine’s eldest son confirmed that he passed away early on Wednesday morning in Constantia.

The late anti-apartheid activist’s health had been deteriorating.
